Nestled in the Tuscan hills, CARATO, a jewel in Mensano.
Angélique and Jean-Christophe (JC), who after Podere Tesoro have given new life to this local institution, will bring to the area with CARATO a new concept of tradition and innovation.
Our chefs, with their experience in the region, will bring “Tuscan spirit” to the table combined with a modern, genuine, and authentic touch.
Using local ingredients and favouring zero-kilometre products, they will offer dishes with a familiar flavour, showcasing everything grown in the gardens of the restaurant and Podere Tesoro.
You’ll be welcomed by Gionni and his dining team, who will be delighted to guide you on this journey. They’ll lead you through traditional flavours showcased in the various dishes on the menu and the excellent selection of wines, each telling the rich story of this land we hold so dear.
